A note from Scott Austin:
When I went on my first silent retreat with Or Halev 7 years ago at the age of 37, I had never had any trouble accessing love, compassion, or joy. It wasn't until I experienced the retreat that I realized I had never known true peacefulness until then.
I've deepened my already rich relationship with my father both before and after he died, I've enhanced how I connect with each of my 4 children as I continue to learn how to support and BE there with them, I've taken my relationship with my wife to our deepest levels yet, and I've further invigorated my already enthusiastic desire to serve others. Then life gets real, I falter from all of those paths as I live the human experience, and with the tools I practice through Or Halev I get back on the bicycle and start pedaling again.
In this time where the world is fraught with anger and hatred as we fight for freedom, decency, and humanity, more than ever we need tools and support to help us access our joy, love, compassion, and peacefulness. I believe deeply experiencing peace and love within is a prerequisite for having peace and love in this world. Or Halev has been my biggest personal helper in that path.
