Scott Austin

Scott believes every interaction is a precious opportunity for kindness and thus tikkun olam.
Most conversations with Scott cannot go more than 5 minutes without him gushing about the tremendous impact of Or HaLev week long retreats on one’s experience of joy, passion, love, compassion, connection, and peacefulness.
He loves experiencing skiing, baseball, nature, and meditation with his dear friends, family, beloved wife Annie, and 4 cherished children.

Scott is a CFA charterholder and holds a bachelor of economics from Yale University.
Prior to separating from his professional work at the end of 2022, Scott was a senior partner at a $200 billion west coast investment manager where he co-lead investments for $80 billion of assets and subsequently was the head of new investment fund creation.

Scott devotes his time and energy to sharing Or HaLev, supporting Camp Alonim, consulting with organizations that leverage technology to fight anti-semitism, and giving to various Jewish, mental health, and education based non-profits.
